Hey Pumpkin!

Fall is here and if there is one trend that stands the test of time - its pumpkins! Luckily the trend has evolved over time and this years pumpkins have been taken to a whole other level. From colored glass that lights up to lux velvet pumpkins with rich jewel tones. There is no shortage of pumpkins that can work with any type of decor, making the possibilities literally endless. As an interior designer, the start of the holiday season is my favorite time of year because it allows me to be creative in the most fun ways - no client or time restrictions, just me, doing my thing!

Creating table scapes always puts me in the mood for a fun cocktail! Preferably one that is inspired by the season. Chia Old Fashioned any one?! Hmmmm. Old fashions are always a good end to a productive day and putting this fall twist makes it a good start to a cozy season. Like the old saying goes pumpkin spice and everything nice, but what I say is "pumpkin and spice make everything nice" especially when mixed with bourbon! So when decorating for this fall season remember, pumpkins are your friend and truly add life to a fall table scape. Mixing and matching finishes, and bringing the out doors in add for an eclectic look and make it all your own. Cheers to falling in love with fall!
